Guildford connectivity issues

NewNet are currently experiencing issues with NewNet Direct services in the Guildford area. Engineers are investigating and will restore service as soon as possible.

Due to loading issues NewNet mail server mail1.adsl.newnet.co.uk webmail became unresponsive. The issue is now resolved.

Customers may be experiencing an issue with the broadband usage statistics, this is currently being investigated by our system development team. NewNet apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our customers.

RESOLVED: The issue with some incoming call routes has now been resolved.

Some customers calling a few select numbers to the company may have issues connecting to the required person, this issue has now been identified and our engineers are working to resolve this issue.

NewNet engineers will be undertaking an operating system upgrade on one of our core Cisco 7609 routers.

In preparation for the upgrade, all traffic traversing this router will be re-routed and therefore no customer facing outages are anticipated.
