Notice of emergency maintenance work scheduled for 29/06/2009 23:00 - 30/06/2009 01:00

Following the loss of a BT central pipe earlier today, engineers will be undertaking emergency maintenance to rebalance all sessions on the affected router tonight from 23:00

All users connected to this router will see their sessions drop. Most routers will reconnect automatically within 10 minutes; please reboot your router if it does not.

NewNet are currently experiencing issues with one of our links to the BT Ipstream network.  Engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.

NewNet apologises for any inconvience caused.

Newnet would like to inform its customers that due to software updates and hotfixes, there will be intermittent access to all hosted exchange services between 07:00 to 10:00 on Saturday 4th July.

We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

LINX will be undertaking maintenance on the switch upstream of one of our 1G connections in Telehouse North on 29/06/2009 between 00:00 and 06:00.

In preparation for this maintenance, NewNet engineers will re-route affected traffic via alternate connections.

This notice is for advisory purposes - no impact on service is expected.

Broadband users will shortly see a new display for their bandwidth allocation and month-to-date usage statistics which is set to replace the existing bandwidth statistics page.

The month-to-date usage will be shown as a total. Hourly and daily data will not be displayed. The reason for this change is to simplify the information presented and remove potentially inaccurate data as real time stats are not currently available.
