Powerhost mysql1 service

NewNet experienced issues with mysql1 service on 04/06/2009 between 21:16 and 21:38.

A small number of customers are known to be experiencing issues as a result of this. Engineers are currently working to repair affected tables.

RESOLVED: This issue has now been resolved and the service is back online

NewNet are currently experiencing problems with the powerhost mysql1 database server.  Engineers are currently trying to resolve the problems.

Mail one email issues

The mail1 (one) email service is currently experiencing issues, this is being investigated by our technical team. NewNet apologise for the inconvenience and will restore service as soon as possible.

Usernames and password security

There has been an attempt to solicit email account user name and passwords details from someone purporting to be from the “NewNet Support Team”

NewNet would like to advise customers that under no circumstances would our support team or any other staff member ask you to provide your user name and password by email. Please be cautious when receiving emails of this nature, if you are unsure please call our help desk on 01329 226723 to confirm any suspicious activity.
