LLU + Etherdirect issues Portsmouth area 14/09/2009
Monday, September 14th, 2009NewNet has experienced an isolated routing issue on 14th September 2009 @ 11.58, affecting LLU dsl services and Etherdirect services from the following exchanges: Portsmouth Central, Portsmouth North, Cosham, Havant, Waterlooville, Fareham and Gosport.
DSL sessions went down while automatic re-routing was taking place. Once routing was stable over the failover path sessions reconnected automatically resuming service to customers. This whole process took less than 1 minute to complete.
Customers are advised to reboot their routers if automatic reconnection hasn’t taken place.
