Severe Weather Warning - Broadband areas - Update

The declaration that was placed from 17.00 on Tuesday 17th November 2009 now only applies to faults caused by the severe weather in the affected areas.

The MBORC has been lifted from the following areas with effect from 12.00 midday on 27th November 2009.

SALISBURY, BOURNEMOUTH, TAUNTON, PLYMOUTH, CANTERBURY, TUNBRIDGE WELLS, BRIGHTON, PORTSMOUTH, ISLE OF WIGHT, CHELMSFORD.

The MBORC is still in place for the following areas:

EXETER, TRURO, NORTH WALES, WEST WALES

This declaration will be lifted as soon as the weather-related fault volume returns to normal.

Hosted Exchange Maintenance - 05/12/2009

NewNet would like to inform you that there will be scheduled maintenance for our Hosted Exchange services between 06:30 to 09:30 on Saturday 5th December. During this time, there will be intermittent access to the hosted exchange services.

Mail.newnet.co.uk failed this morning, engineers have been investigating and have now partially restored the service. It is expected to be fully restored by 13.30 today (26/11/2009). NewNet apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused customers.

NewNet Phone System Maintenance - Sunday 29th November 2009

NewNet wishes to advice all customers that we will be undertaking maintenance to our primary phone system unit on Sunday 29th November 2009 between 1000hrs and 1600hrs.

All NewNet telephone numbers during this period will give the busy tone.

All customers that have use of the 24 hour support number will be contacted via their account manager with an alternate number for use during this period.
