Guildford LLU broadband and Ether Direct maintenance

Openreach will be conducting upgrades to the Guildford exchange from 00.01 to 06.00 on the 18th November 2009, during this period all NewNet broadband and Ether Direct customers will experience an up to 5 minute outage. All user connections should automatically log back in once the work is complete, if your service does not restore, please log off and then back on to regain connectivity.

Pipe rebalance - BT IPSTREAM

The pipe rebalance will happen in an emergency slot at 5-6am GMT on the 3rd November 2009.

BT IP-stream customers will loose their PPP sessions and may need to manually reconnect after this time.

NewNet Broadband Issue

NewNet has experienced a failure of one of the Central broadband connections, our engineers have now resolved this. However, due to an imbalance in the broadband pipes, engineers are planning to stop and start services in order to rebalance the broadband central pipes.

All services should automatically come back up when this occurs. However, if your service does not come back up automatically, please power your router / modem off then on again.
