NewNet engineers will be undertaking maintenance on the orderforms.co.uk system from 21:00 on Thursday 25th February 2010. Access to broadband usage statistics will not be available during these works.

NewNet Helpdesk Opening Hours

The NewNet Helpdesk opening times will change from their current arrangement of 6am - 10pm to the new hours of 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday, effective from 1st March 2010.  The Saturday Helpdesk hours of 9am - 5m will remain unchanged.  The 24 hour priority phone line for high end services such as leased lines and colocation will also remain unchanged.

After careful analysis and consideration, we have identified that our weekday Helpdesk hours are busiest between 8am and 8pm and we would like to focus on providing the optimum level of service during this time so that all customer queries are dealt with immediately.  As part of this focus, our Helpdesk team is set to expand and we are currently recruiting extra Helpdesk staff to increase customer service response times during these core hours.   Our specific focus on this time bracket will mean that each customer should see an increase in the overall customer experience during the time period that matters to them most.

Hosted Exchange Planned Maintenance - 20/02/2010

NewNet would like to advise that there will be scheduled maintenance for our services between 07:00 - 09:00 on Saturday 20th February. During this time, there will be intermittent access to the hosted exchange services.

PowerHost Windows1 Planned Maintenance - Friday 19th Feb 2010

COMPLETED: This maintenance has been completed and all sites should be working as normal. Any customer with issues please contact the Helpdesk on 01329226723

NewNet engineers will be carrying out Planned Maintenance to the PowerHost Windows1 server on Friday 19th February 2010 between 2300hrs and 2359hrs to resolve an issue with PHP5.2 and mySQL connections.

Customers may notice a short outage while the Microsoft Windows Internet Information Service is restarted for this change to take affect.

PowerHost mysql1 issue - Monday 15th Feb 2010

RESOLVED: This service is now back online and any user still experiencing issues should contact the NewNet Helpdesk on 01329 226723

Users of the PowerHost mySQL server (mysql1.ukisp.com) may be seeing an issue with the server returning the error “#1040 - Too many connections”

Our Server administrators are investigating this issue and will update customers as soon as possible.
