Core Network Maintenance - 5th May 2010

NewNet engineers will be carrying out essential maintenance on routers within our core network in London docklands in order to upgrade the network for future expansion. No customer facing outage will be expected, however, due to the nature of these works, customers should consider their services as “at risk” for the duration of the maintenance window.

Hosted Exchange Maintenance - 1st May 2010

NewNet would like to inform you that scheduled maintenance will be taking place on the Hosted Exchange services between 06:00 to 09:00 on Saturday 1st May 2010

This maintenance is to apply Windows security updates across the platform, during this time, there will be intermittent access to the hosted exchange services.

We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Maintenance work on Powerhost/PowerReg/Mail1.adsl - 29/04/10 22:00 - 30/04/10 04:00

NewNet engineers will be performing essential maintenance on the Powerhost network.  This will involve downtime for the following servers.  All services on these servers will be affected throughout the maintenance window.  All other services on the Powerhost platform are considered ‘at risk’ throughout this work:

Affected servers:

* Control Panel Server

* Unix9

* Mail5

* MySQL1

* Windows3

* Unix6

* Mail2

* Windows1

* ns0

This maintenance work will also require downtime for the following ‘PowerReg’ servers:

* web1.powerreg.newnet.co.uk

* mail1.powerreg.newnet.co.uk

These services are expected to be offline for no more than 15-20 minutes.

Maintenance will also be carried out on shared mail server ‘mail1.adsl.newnet.co.uk’.  Users with an xDSL inclusive e-mail account (usually ending with domain @mail1.co.uk), will experience loss of service accessing their e-mail during this work.  The outage to this system is expected to be no more than 15-20 minutes, but should be considered ‘at risk’ throughout the whole maintenance period.

Powerhost Unix4 - Essential Maintenance - 22/04/10 22:00 - 23:00

NewNet engineers will be undertaking essential maintenance on Powerhost shared web server Unix4, to fix an issue with file system quotas.  This work will resolve problems customers may be experiencing with viewing web statistics on this server.  All services on this server will be unavailable during the maintenance.  Expected downtime is no more than 15 minutes.

Broadband Usage Reporting
