NewNet Customer Leased Line Access Router

NewNet are currently experiencing issues with a customer access leased line router.  Some customers with leased lines are currently offline.

Engineers are currently investigating and will provide further updates.

NewNet apologises for any inconvenience caused.

UPDATE:  This issue has now been resolved and the router is back online.

Guildford LLU - Planned Maintenance - 20/05/10, 21:00 - 21/05/10, 06:00

NewNet would like to pass on information received from an upstream provider about planned maintenance on a Guildford

circuit, between 20/05/10, 21:00 and 21/05/10, 06:00.  All LLU Broadband services in the Guildford area are to be considered ‘at risk’ throughout

this maintenance window.

Router failure - Delme place data-centre 20100519-13.25

NewNet is currently experiencing an issue with one of its access routers on the Delme place data-centre which serves a number of colocation customers.

NewNet engineers are currently working on resolving this issue and will offer an update as soon as possible.

This issue has now been resolved and connectivity restored to all customers. Please contact support@newnet.co.uk if you are still experiencing any issues.

Hosted Exchange Maintenance - 21/22 May 2010

We would like to inform you that there will be scheduled maintenance for our Hosted Exchange services between 22:00 to 09:00 on Friday 21st / Saturday 22nd May.

This maintenance is to apply updates to the platform and during this time, there will be intermittent access to our Hosted Exchange services.

Hardware maintenance on Powerhost Mysql1.ukisp.com - 13/05/10 22:00 - 23:59

NewNet engineers will be carrying out previously deferred maintenance on Powerhost shared MySQL database server ‘mysql1.ukisp.com’.  The service is expected to be down for no more than 45 minutes whilst this work is completed.  This work is essential to ensure the system continues to operate smoothly, given recent issues with this service.  The mysql1.ukisp.com server will be upgraded to provide more resources and resiliency.
