Major outage on BT network.

BT are currently experiencing a major service outage on their network affecting multiple nodes and therefore appears to be national. We have received reports from users affected as far afield as London and Scotland. BT are keeping us informed however at present they have adjusted the estimated fix time. If users are experiencing difficulties please call the service team on 01329226723 for further information and analysis.

Online Regrade form

Broadband Bandwidth Allocation

An issue has been identified with broadband bandwidth allocation whereby usage data was not being added to users totals. This issue has now been resolved and all usage data is now visible on the normal usage summary.  Newnet apologises for any inconvenience caused. Network outage to customers in West Barn data centre

Newnet engineers will be carrying out network upgrades as part of a continuing process of improvement. Services should be considered at risk for the duration of this maintenance window, however any outage is not expected to exceed 10-15 minutes whilst network serices are migrated.

Customers affected by these works have been contacted by our service support team.

Powerhost updates - 15/06/10 21:00 - 16/06/10 04:00

NewNet engineers will be undertaking planned maintenance to update the Powerhost cluster. This will involve a series of software updates. All Powerhost services will be unavailable at various points throughout this work. The Powerhost control panel will be offline throughout the whole maintenance period, and no changes to Powerhost accounts can be made during this time.

Disruption to web/mail/DNS/Database services will be kept as minimal as possible.
