Broadband email notifications

An issue has been identified with the broadband bandwidth email notifications. Some users may be receiving multiple duplicate notices. We are working to resolve this issue and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Network Resillience at Risk, WG Fareham - TH London - Maintenance - 24/09/2010

NewNet have been informed by one of our carrier network providers that the one of our network links between the Walled Garden Fareham and Telehouse London will be at risk due to maintenance on 24/09/2010 from 23.00 to 07.00 on 25/09/2010. The South Coast network resillience will therefore be classed as at risk during this period.

Customer services will not be affected.

Broadband network upgrades 30/9/2010 0000 - 0400

Newnet would like to advise all Newnet Direct customers that due to an essential network upgrade, users of this service will experience a short outage between 0000 and 0400 on the 30th Sept 2010.

All downtime will be minimised as much as possible, however if you experience any issues with your connectivity following this period, please reboot your router as a matter of course.

If your connection does not recover following this, please contact the Support desk on 01329 226723 between 8am-8pm for further investigation and resolution. We would also like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Powerhost NS0

NewNet are currently experiencing issues with the powerhost NS0.  The Powerhost NS1 is still operating normally.

Engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.

Powerhost network upgrades - 22/09/10 00:00 - 04:00

NewNet engineers will be undertaking work to upgrade the Powerhost network infrastructure, during
the above maintenance window. This is part of a continuing process of improvement to the Powerhost cluster.

This work will improve the capacity available to the Powerhost network

All Powerhost services will be unavailable whilst this work is completed. Expected outage is 1-2 hours, however the system is to be considered ‘at risk’ throughout the whole maintenance window. NewNet apologise for any inconvenience caused.
