CORE router replacement line card - 11/11/10 00:01-04:00

NewNet engineers will be performing emergency maintenance to replace a faulty line card in a CORE London router. The immediate replacement is necessary to provide and maintain NewNet’s fully redundant architecture. No outage is expected.

BT network maintenance: Edinburgh Node 9th-10th Nov

BT have informed us of further essential maintenance to their network node in Edinburgh on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th of November. This work is required to increase resilience on the network and prevent future outages of the kind experienced in recent weeks. This work may affect users in Scotland, Northern Ireland and some parts of northern England. However BT state they have taken all possible precautions to prevent outages while this work is carried out.
