South coast aggregation switch issue

NewNet experienced a short outage on one of it’s aggregation switches in a south coast data centre.
Some customer ports would have been affected.

Engineers restored service to the failed switch as quickly as possible.

Hosted Exchange Scheduled Maintenance between Saturday 15th January 2011 0700hrs  and Sunday 16th January 1900hrs

Newnet would like to inform our hosted exchange users that there will be scheduled maintenance for our services between the times mentioned above. There is no anticipated impact on service or email flow during this time, though account changes made during this period may take longer than usual to complete.

NewNet engineers will be carrying out emergency maintenance to our DSL platform.  This will cause a short outage of up to 10 minutes to all ADSL and SDSL customers during the maintenance window specified above.
