Hosted Exchange platform scheduled maintenance 1st Oct 2011 06.30-10.00hrs

Newnet wishes to advise users of our hosted exchange mail service of scheduled maintenance occurring between 06.30 - 10.00hrs on Sun 1st Oct. During this time there will be intermittent access to the hosted exchange service. Newnet apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Emergency Network Maintenance 20th September 2011 00:01 - 04:00

Newnet engineers will be carrying out emergency network upgrades during the above maintenance window on the core network. Customers should not experience any downtime, however all services should be considered at risk during the maintenance window. All backup system will be in place and functioning during the maintenance window.

Planned Network maintenance on some leased line services 23rd Sept 2011 02:00 - 05:00hrs

Newnet wish to inform customers of planned network maintenance occurring on Friday 23rd September between 02:00 and 05:00hrs. Maintenance is being undertaken to carrier equipment for various leased line circuits. The maintenance will result in an outage of up to 1 min to all affected leased line services, however the service should be considered as “at risk” throughout the entirety of this management window.

Please note all affected customers have already been contacted regarding this outage.

Network issue affecting Powerhost services

Newnet wish to advise customers of a network issue known to be affecting users of our Powerhost service. Newnet engineers are investigating the matter and further updates will be provided as soon as possible.

Any customers wishing to discuss the matter in further detail should call the Service desk on 0844 8549289 or email support@newnet.co.uk.

Update 1432 : Issue now resolved, all affected powerhost customers should now see service restored. Newnet apologise for any inconvenience caused, any customers still experiencing issues should contact the service desk in the usual way.

Planned network maintenance on Havant Exchange 23rd Sept 2011 0300 - 0400hrs

Newnet wish to inform customers of planned network maintenance occurring on Friday 23rd September between 03:00-04:00hrs. Maintenance is being undertaken to Newnet equipment on the Havant Telephony exchange. The maintenance will result in an outage of up to 30 mins to all Newnet Direct LLU users on this exchange. Service should be considered as “at risk” throughout the entirety of this maintenance window.
