NewNet wish to advise customers of essential network upgrades occurring on the 30th Nov between 0000 - 0400hrs. Upgrades are being made to NewNet’s DSL network and will result in a loss of service of up to 30mins during this period, however all services should be considered as “at risk” during the maintenance window.
All ADSL and SDSL customers will see a drops in connection during this period. If customers notice that their connection does not recover after the maintenance window then a router reboot will restore service. If a router reboot does not restore the service then please contact Newnet technical support for further assistance.

Update 30th Nov - The upgrade work was not fully completed, so a further update will be required in the near future to complete the planned works.
Update 22nd Dec - This work will now be completed within a maintenance window of 4th January 2012 between 00:01 and 04:00, all other details are as above.
Update 5th Jan 2012 - Work was completed successfully and following a period of monitoring we can confirm that no issues were detected following the maintenance.
