NewNet Voice Over IP issues

RESOLVED: We have been informed that the PSTN gateway is now back on-line and we have made test calls using the service. If any customer is still having issues please contact our Support Team on 01329 226723 or e-Mail voip@newnet.co.uk

One of our primary gateway PSTN providers has suffered a server failure and some of our VoIP customers may be experience loss of service while this service is migrated to an alternate route and the service is brought back on-line.

IPStream rebalancing

NewNet will be undertaking a rebalance of IPStream broadband sessions on 09/10/2009 at 06:00. All sessions will drop and should reconnect automatically. If you have any issues please reboot your broadband router.

NewNet VoIP Server “lon-pbx-7.newnetvoip.co.uk” not responding

RESOLVED: A software issue caused a conflict on the server which has now been resolved following a software update.

One of our Voice Over IP Servers has just been recovered from a service outage which would have affected all customers hosted on this server.

The cause of this issue has not yet been identified but your engineering team are working on this issue.

NewNet VoIP Server “lon-pbx-12.newnetvoip.co.uk” not responding

RESOLVED: lon-pbx-12 was rebooted and a software patch applied which has resolved the issue

We are currently experiencing an issue with one of the VoIP servers (lon-pbx-12.newnetvoip.co.uk) which is not responding.

Our engineers are currently working towards resolving this issue.

Broadband router reboot 25/03/2009 01:00

COMPLETED: Maintenance completed by 1.15 on 25/03/2009

NewNet will be rebooting a broadband LNS router due to a buffer overload error on the 25th of March 2009 from 1am.

Customers whose ppp sessions terminate in this router will see their sessions drop while the router reboots. Sessions should re-negotiate  automatically within a few minutes. If you are experiencing issues following this maintenance please reboot your adsl router in order to force the re-negatiation of the session.

NewNet apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this essential maintenance.
