Ongoing Network issue :- 7/5/13 - 0910

NewNet would like to advise customers of a network issue we are currently experiencing that is affecting a number of our leased line customers.

Our engineers are currently investigating the cause of this issue and we will continue to provide updates as soon as they become available.

Update 1000 - Our engineers have located the issue as a routing problem within our core network. This was resolved as of approx 0930 and as routes have re-propagated circuits have recovered. We can now confirm that all affected circuits are now working as expected.

Any customers still experiencing issues should raise a ticket via their secure area, or call the technical support team on either our 24/7 support number or 01329 266 723.

Core network maintenance : 1/5/13 0000 - 0400

NewNet wish to advise customers of maintenance occurring on our core network between 0000 and 0400 on Wednesday 1st May. There is no expected customer impact, however all DSL circuits (including ADSL, SDSL, nWan and Leased line backups) should be considered at risk throughout the duration of the maintenance window.

PowerHost platform - DNS record issues

NewNet wish to advise customers of an ongoing issue affecting our PowerHost platform. A number of customers have reported missing DNS records, affecting the ability to receive emails and browse to affected websites.

Our engineers are currently working on this issue and further updates will be provided when available.

UPDATE 1830 - Unfortunately our engineers have not resolved this incident at present however we are continuing to work towards a resolution as soon as possible.

UPDATE 2000 - Our engineers have now resolved this issue, however we continue to investigate the root cause of the problem.
