Planned network maintenance Wed 11th May 0001-0400hrs

Newnet engineers will be conducting essential network maintenance between 0001-0400hrs on Wednesday 11th May.  Any downtime on affected services is not expected to exceed 15 minutes whilst the maintenance is being carried out.

All affected customers are being contacted directly in advance of this work.

BT Service outage 4/4/2011 0230hrs

Newnet wishes to advise customers of a service outage last night between approx 02.30 and 04.30.  Service was restored as soon as possible. Further updates to follow as soon as they are available.

Update 10am: Newnet have confirmed last nights outage was another BT major service affecting issue, and indications are this is related to the large outages BT experienced last week. This affected a wide range of ISP’s including Newnet. Any customers wishing to discuss further please contact Newnet Support on 0844 8549289

Network outage to customers in West Barn data centre

Newnet engineers will be carrying out network upgrades as part of a continuing process of improvement. Services should be considered at risk for the duration of this maintenance window, however any outage is not expected to exceed 10-15 minutes whilst network serices are migrated.

Customers affected by these works have been contacted by our service support team.

Router failure - Delme place data-centre 20100519-13.25

NewNet is currently experiencing an issue with one of its access routers on the Delme place data-centre which serves a number of colocation customers.

NewNet engineers are currently working on resolving this issue and will offer an update as soon as possible.

NewNet Telephone System Maintenance - Sun 11/10/2009

NewNet will be undertaking maintenance on their telephone system on Sunday 11th October 2009 between 12.00 - 14.00. During this period all land lines to NewNet will be out of action. For those customers that have 24/7 support, an additional temporary number will be provided for urgent calls, details will be sent out to all 24/7 customers by email. The normal 24/7 on-line ticketing system will still be available for customers to use.
